What are some things that you must and must not do on YouTube? This is something that everyone wants to know about. The fact is that more people want to become content creators each year, because it seems so rewarding and it is not so difficult to get started. But we have to talk about some of the things that you must do if you want to be a good YouTuber, and some of the things that you should avoid.
One of the big dos that we want to talk about is promoting your channel when you are starting off. A lot of people think that you should just care about the content that you are putting out. And while you need great content, it is not enough. As a new YouTube personality, you have no following. No one but your friends is subbing to your channel, and that is not good enough. What you are going to want to do is make sure that you buy YouTube views to help you along. When you buy YouTube views, you make your videos seem hugely popular, and that gives you a lot of momentum to build your channel.
Another do that we should talk about is how you are going to want to make sure that you upload regularly, and on a schedule. If you think that you can build a following with one or two videos a month, you are mistaken. That is far from good enough. Ideally, you want to upload two or three times a week, and you will want to pick days. Make a decision to upload every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, and then stick with it for instance. The days are entirely up to you, but the schedule is something that you must stick to.
Why do schedules matter? So you can have regularity with your viewers. And that will help us segue into a massive don’t. Make sure that you are never putting out videos that are seriously controversial during the early stages of your channel. Why does that matter? Because you do not want to get yourself demonetized. Yes, you can put out videos about trending topics and other matters, because that gets you more viewers. But if you are uploading something upsetting, offensive or derogatory, then you will just find that you get demonetized. And that means you make no money on that video.
